What to Expect: A Day on the Water with ReelRetreat
When you book a deep sea fishing charter with ReelRetreat, you can expect a fun-filled 5 hour trip on the water with one of our expert skippers. Our charters are designed to provide you with the ultimate fishing adventure, taking you to the best spots on the North Coast to catch a variety of fish depending mainly on the season.
Here’s what you can expect on a typical charter, along with a packing list to help you prepare.

- 6:00am: Arrive at the beach where you will meet your skipper. Sign indemnity forms and discuss the plan of fishing action
- 6:30am: Departure from the beach and head out to the fishing grounds
- 6:30 - 7:30: Catch live bait suitable for the type of species that we will target.
- 7:30am: Head to various destinations in order to target various fish species, sometimes in the deep or alternatively north or south from the launch site.
- 11:30pm: Back to the launch site and hit the beach.
- 11:45pm: Offload gear from the boat and sort fish out, scale and clean fish if necessary.
